Narrative:

I was flying as an first officer on a falcon 20 at night when the cargo door came 1/2 way open at about 1000 ft AGL. The air noise was deafening and the captain and I had difficulty communicating with the tower and each other, as only the captain was wearing a headset. I suggest both crew members wear headsets with intercom to facilitate communication in both normal and emergency sits. Supplemental information from acn 612544: on final, an engine cover went into the engine. Engine lost power. We were rushing and did not notice door light, if it was on.
