Narrative:
Aircraft X was 10NM east of ptw climbing out of 7000 ft from 8000 ft. Air carrier Y was sbound descending out of 7500 ft and about 5 mi from aircraft X when I noticed the conflict. I advised both controllers involved of the situation. I was not in contact with either pilot.
