Narrative:

While working the mullr sector and feeding the final position in a south operation, aircraft X and Y checked on the frequency. After giving instructions to both aircraft, I realized that they would be tight on the final. As the aircraft progressed, I initiated diverging headings to obtain additional separation. During this process, I was dealing with aircraft Z. It appeared that aircraft Z was having radio trouble and required more attention than normal. After I was done working aircraft X and Y, the supervisor approached me asking if everything was ok between these 2 aircraft. Supervisor stated that ZNY had called questioning our separation. I stated that there was no problem, I also informed the supervisor that the second aircraft told me he had the first aircraft in sight. I felt that I had not lost 3 mi of separation.
