Narrative:
Left wing leading edge slats, #5 slat on #5 drive track, both the retract slats and extend slats adjustable stops and serrated locks missing. Job card (instruction) XXX page 12 wing slat cable rigging not followed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the information on the locks and stops was given to management to determine where the cable rigging was accomplished but no answer was received.

Title: A DC9 ON OVERNIGHT CHK WAS FOUND TO HAVE #5 SLAT BOTH EXTEND AND RETRACT, ADJUSTABLE STOPS AND SERRATED LOCKS MISSING. MAINT MANUAL CABLE RIGGING PROC NOT FOLLOWED.
