Narrative:
During landing rollout at san, tower said smoke was coming from left main gear wheel. We pulled off the runway and crash fire rescue equipment came and observed the wheel. The smoke dissipated. We noticed that the left hydraulic system was at 4 quarts and suspected that was where the smoke had originally come from. We turned off the left hydraulics and taxied uneventfully to the gate with crash fire rescue equipment in tow. Supplemental information from acn 619426: all brake temperatures were indicating less than 80 degrees C. Deplaned at gate. Entered in E6. Found left main and wheelwell covered with hydraulic fluid.
