Narrative:
This event happened on a training mission towards my mei rating. Right after my touch and go, my instructor cut my left engine at 100-150 ft AGL. As the density altitude was very high the aircraft could not reach to 500 ft AGL at midfield downwind. At this point, tower expressed their concern about our safety. As a flight instructor myself, I found this event very unsafe.

Title: A BE55 MEI APPLICANT RPTED THAT HIS INSTRUCTOR MADE A DANGEROUS ENG CUT DURING HIS CLBOUT, AFTER A TOUCH AND GO, FROM RYN, AZ.
Narrative: THIS EVENT HAPPENED ON A TRAINING MISSION TOWARDS MY MEI RATING. RIGHT AFTER MY TOUCH AND GO, MY INSTRUCTOR CUT MY L ENG AT 100-150 FT AGL. AS THE DENSITY ALT WAS VERY HIGH THE ACFT COULD NOT REACH TO 500 FT AGL AT MIDFIELD DOWNWIND. AT THIS POINT, TWR EXPRESSED THEIR CONCERN ABOUT OUR SAFETY. AS A FLT INSTRUCTOR MYSELF, I FOUND THIS EVENT VERY UNSAFE.
