Narrative:
Military charter into spi, neither of us had been there before. Landed on runway 22 then taxied to ramp via taxiway a, then made slight right turn on taxiway B, then entered ramp at taxiway D. Were guided to parking by ramp personnel parking on terminal ramp facing southeast. When finished loading, were cleared to taxi to runway 22. There was a fence in front of us so only exit was right turn on B4 then another right on taxiway B. While on B4 we noticed that taxiway B got very narrow there. I said to captain 'I don't think we can make it.' captain then stopped aircraft. Taxiway B was only way out. We decided if we made a very careful turn we could make it. So we made the turn and right main gear hit taxiway light then went into grass. We continued taxi back onto concrete and stopped there on taxiway B and shut down. Onboard mechanics went down and inspected gear and found it to be undamaged. So, upon coordination with air carrier, maintenance control and manager, the mechanics cleaned the gear then signed off logbook and we continued to destination.
