Narrative:

The E145 was issued go around instructions and a 340 degree heading. He turned to a 240 degree heading but disappeared from view and radar over the tower. When the heading was reissued the pilot turned back to the right on an intercept with the A319 climbing on a 270 degree heading. The E145 pilot thought the tower instructed him on the 240 degree but the tower didn't catch the readback.
