Narrative:
After takeoff received uncommanded spoiler deployment indication. Complied with all emergency checklists. Aircraft handled normally with no anomalies. Returned immediately to ZZZ airport. Landed without incident. All normal checklists complied with. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the spoilers did not deploy. The reporter said the flight data acquisition unit was checked by maintenance and found a spoiler fail fault that was traced to an outboard spoiler position indication malfunction. Callback conversation with reporter acn 624882 revealed the following information: the reporter stated the spoilers did not deploy as shown by the flight performance. The reporter said it was a spoiler position indication malfunction.

Title: AN EMB145 IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO SPOILER DEPLOY INDICATION CAUSED BY A FALSE WARNING.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF RECEIVED UNCOMMANDED SPOILER DEPLOYMENT INDICATION. COMPLIED WITH ALL EMER CHKLISTS. ACFT HANDLED NORMALLY WITH NO ANOMALIES. RETURNED IMMEDIATELY TO ZZZ ARPT. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. ALL NORMAL CHKLISTS COMPLIED WITH. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE SPOILERS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE RPTR SAID THE FLT DATA ACQUISITION UNIT WAS CHKED BY MAINT AND FOUND A SPOILER FAIL FAULT THAT WAS TRACED TO AN OUTBOARD SPOILER POSITION INDICATION MALFUNCTION. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR ACN 624882 REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE SPOILERS DID NOT DEPLOY AS SHOWN BY THE FLT PERFORMANCE. THE RPTR SAID IT WAS A SPOILER POSITION INDICATION MALFUNCTION.
