Narrative:
Aircraft has castering nosewheel, brake steering. Right brake failed, pedal went to floor while taxiing. Plane veered left into taxiway light. As engine was coming to a stop, propeller struck light fixture. Propeller damage. There was no previous sign of brake problem.

Title: THE LANCAIR COLUMBIA SINGLE PLT EXPERIENCED A BRAKE FAILURE DURING TAXI AT MQI AND IMPACTED A TXWY LIGHT, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROP.
Narrative: ACFT HAS CASTERING NOSEWHEEL, BRAKE STEERING. R BRAKE FAILED, PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR WHILE TAXIING. PLANE VEERED L INTO TXWY LIGHT. AS ENG WAS COMING TO A STOP, PROP STRUCK LIGHT FIXTURE. PROP DAMAGE. THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS SIGN OF BRAKE PROB.
