Narrative:
Our flight started lax-iad. We were notified that we were reassigned via company communication and that we were going to lga. We boarded after an hour. The plane took off. After 10 mins into the flight, the #1 flight attendant called the cockpit and notified the captain via interphone. I was the #2 flight attendant. I was listening on the phone. I related the same message. The flight landed at jfk without incident. There was no flight service or safety coordinator person there to ask if we were ok to continue. The next day when we were deadheading, and arrived at our base, no safety coordinator was present. I think I would like to meet with a person or to be asked if I was ok. I think, after experiencing an emergency, I would like to see a supervisor, but all I got was a company message thanking me for my report. Also, the passenger were treated unfairly because we ended up going to jfk instead of lga. They were promised vouchers that were not given upon arrival. Then, the passenger were told to find their own transportation.

THEN, THE PAX WERE TOLD TO FIND THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION.
