Narrative:

Dia landing south. Departure was assigned a climb to FL230 on pikes 2 departure, ALS transition. Arrival was vectored off the STAR from the southwest to a 080 degree heading, putting it in conflict with the departure. Investigation revealed that the traffic management coordinator had instructed the approach sectors to change to a land north confign. The controllers complied and started vectoring to a north landing. Thus the arrival aircraft X was turned east for base leg. Those of us on departure sectors were not told of a flow change and were climbing normally into south confign airspace. The aircraft Y departure received a TCASII to stop climb and leveled until passing. The supervisor's log later declared (reported) the situation and 'normal handling' was used. Thus, no further action has been taken.

Title: D01 CTLR EXPRESSED CONCERN REGARDING CONFLICT RESULTING FROM POOR INTRAFAC COORD DURING LNDG RWY CONFIGN CHANGE.

Narrative: DIA LNDG S. DEP WAS ASSIGNED A CLB TO FL230 ON PIKES 2 DEP, ALS TRANSITION. ARR WAS VECTORED OFF THE STAR FROM THE SW TO A 080 DEG HDG, PUTTING IT IN CONFLICT WITH THE DEP. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE TFC MGMNT COORDINATOR HAD INSTRUCTED THE APCH SECTORS TO CHANGE TO A LAND N CONFIGN. THE CTLRS COMPLIED AND STARTED VECTORING TO A N LNDG. THUS THE ARR ACFT X WAS TURNED E FOR BASE LEG. THOSE OF US ON DEP SECTORS WERE NOT TOLD OF A FLOW CHANGE AND WERE CLBING NORMALLY INTO S CONFIGN AIRSPACE. THE ACFT Y DEP RECEIVED A TCASII TO STOP CLB AND LEVELED UNTIL PASSING. THE SUPVR'S LOG LATER DECLARED (RPTED) THE SIT AND 'NORMAL HANDLING' WAS USED. THUS, NO FURTHER ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.
