Narrative:
While finishing a double nosewheel assembly change on an MD80, a check of the tire pressures was missed. This resulted in a flight delay at the next maintenance station for both tires being flat. Flat tires were found by ramp agents in ZZZ. The tire changes were being completed near shift change and maintenance equipment was being returned to storage areas. I also received 2 phone calls while in the process of completing tire replacements.
