Narrative:
Climbing through 1000 ft, smoke alert in aft and bulk lower cargo compartment came on. Climbed to 5000 ft on downwind, declared emergency to ATC, ran appropriate checklist for emergency. Vector to ILS runway 36C, mem, was flown. Stopped on runway 36C with emergency equipment response. No smoke or fire found. Terminated emergency. Towed back to ramp.
