Narrative:

I was training at sector 35. I was taking traffic sector 49 15 mi in-trail. Both aircraft were being vectored for spacing. 1ST aircraft was given direct stw. A slow turn to stw. 2ND aircraft was on same course but different altitude. I was talking to the 1ST aircraft at FL230. 2ND aircraft sector 49 had was at FL240. 1ST aircraft northbound to stw at FL230. 2ND aircraft 10 mi away from stw at FL240. 2ND aircraft checks on frequency leaving FL240 down to FL230. I turn 1ST aircraft east and descend to FL190 good rate of descent through FL220. 20 seconds later I ask pilot of the #1 aircraft say altitude. Pilot responds, FL230. Loss of separation occurs.
