Narrative:
On aug/sat/04, my day began at XA00. I preflted the plane and obtained a briefing from denver FSS, which included no mention of specific tfr's. My flight agenda was apa-bjc-hdn-gjt-dro-bjc-apa. At each stop, I checked applicable WX, NOTAMS, tfr's, etc. While at dro, I was briefed by denver FSS at approximately XJ30 local. Once again, no specific tfr's were mentioned. From dro, I proceeded to bjc and dropped off passenger then continued to apa. While en route from bjc to apa and after leaving bjc's airspace and picking up apa's ATIS, I contacted apa's tower, was asked to identify, and cleared to land. While taxiing to parking, tower asked me to call TRACON. When I made the call I was informed that I had flown through an active tfr over coors field. I asked the TRACON where such information regarding tfr's could be obtained. I was told that I would have to 'discuss' that with the 'local FSDO.' neither the bjc nor the apa ATIS carried any tfr information. During my briefing for another flight on aug/mon/04, another denver briefer told me that a coors field tfr was in effect. Because of what happened on aug/sat/04, I interrupted him and asked him how he knew that the tfr was in effect. He told me that the only way he knew was because he had his own sporting event schedules that he referred to. On aug/wed/04, apa ATIS information 'juliet' advised 'notice to airman: coors field tfr in effect, contact denver flight service for further details.' corrective actions: 1) pilots: talk to approach every leg (possibly, even go IFR even for short legs, in VMC conditions). 2) ATC: include specific tfr 'NOTAMS' in all local ATIS broadcasts at appropriate times and places, as well as in all FSS pilot briefings.

Title: PLT OF BE20 PENETRATES STADIUM TFR OVER COORS FIELD.
Narrative: ON AUG/SAT/04, MY DAY BEGAN AT XA00. I PREFLTED THE PLANE AND OBTAINED A BRIEFING FROM DENVER FSS, WHICH INCLUDED NO MENTION OF SPECIFIC TFR'S. MY FLT AGENDA WAS APA-BJC-HDN-GJT-DRO-BJC-APA. AT EACH STOP, I CHKED APPLICABLE WX, NOTAMS, TFR'S, ETC. WHILE AT DRO, I WAS BRIEFED BY DENVER FSS AT APPROX XJ30 LCL. ONCE AGAIN, NO SPECIFIC TFR'S WERE MENTIONED. FROM DRO, I PROCEEDED TO BJC AND DROPPED OFF PAX THEN CONTINUED TO APA. WHILE ENRTE FROM BJC TO APA AND AFTER LEAVING BJC'S AIRSPACE AND PICKING UP APA'S ATIS, I CONTACTED APA'S TWR, WAS ASKED TO IDENT, AND CLRED TO LAND. WHILE TAXIING TO PARKING, TWR ASKED ME TO CALL TRACON. WHEN I MADE THE CALL I WAS INFORMED THAT I HAD FLOWN THROUGH AN ACTIVE TFR OVER COORS FIELD. I ASKED THE TRACON WHERE SUCH INFO REGARDING TFR'S COULD BE OBTAINED. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO 'DISCUSS' THAT WITH THE 'LCL FSDO.' NEITHER THE BJC NOR THE APA ATIS CARRIED ANY TFR INFO. DURING MY BRIEFING FOR ANOTHER FLT ON AUG/MON/04, ANOTHER DENVER BRIEFER TOLD ME THAT A COORS FIELD TFR WAS IN EFFECT. ON AUG/WED/04, APA ATIS INFO 'JULIET' ADVISED 'NOTICE TO AIRMAN: COORS FIELD TFR IN EFFECT, CONTACT DENVER FLT SVC FOR FURTHER DETAILS.' CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: 1) PLTS: TALK TO APCH EVERY LEG (POSSIBLY, EVEN GO IFR EVEN FOR SHORT LEGS, IN VMC CONDITIONS). 2) ATC: INCLUDE SPECIFIC TFR 'NOTAMS' IN ALL LCL ATIS BROADCASTS AT APPROPRIATE TIMES AND PLACES, AS WELL AS IN ALL FSS PLT BRIEFINGS.
