Narrative:
Immediately after takeoff the PF held the aircraft in a level attitude at low altitude and accelerated over approximately 2/3 of the runway length. The PF then pulled the aircraft up in a zooming climb for about 500 ft at which time the normal departure profile was resumed.

Title: F27 CAPT ENGAGED IN NON STANDARD FLYING PROCEDURES DEPARTING JNU.
Narrative: IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF THE PF HELD THE ACFT IN A LEVEL ATTITUDE AT LOW ALT AND ACCELERATED OVER APPROX 2/3 OF THE RWY LENGTH. THE PF THEN PULLED THE ACFT UP IN A ZOOMING CLB FOR ABOUT 500 FT AT WHICH TIME THE NORMAL DEP PROFILE WAS RESUMED.
