Narrative:
The flight purpose was maintenance of pilot-proficiency practice. The first touch-and-go landing and takeoff was done uneventfully. On the second downwind leg, and approaching abeam of the intended runway 4 landing spot, the control tower then cleared this flight 'for the option,' which was acknowledged. Wind was variable 030-040 degrees, 3-4 KTS. The throttles were then retarded initially to 18
