Flight left ZZZ with the r-hand cockpit dome light inoperative. The MEL reference states that the r-hand light must work. Only the l-hand may be deferred, because the r-hand is on the emergency bus. The light was fixed before the next flight.

Narrative: FLT LEFT ZZZ WITH THE R-HAND COCKPIT DOME LIGHT INOP. THE MEL REF STATES THAT THE R-HAND LIGHT MUST WORK. ONLY THE L-HAND MAY BE DEFERRED, BECAUSE THE R-HAND IS ON THE EMER BUS. THE LIGHT WAS FIXED BEFORE THE NEXT FLT.
