Narrative:

Was operating the scissor lift and bumped into the r-hand nose dock, which was not setting the 4 antiskid's brakes, caused the r-hand nose dock to move several inches and put a dent in the right front corner below the paint stripe on the fuselage next to the radome. The dent is approximately the size of a nickel.

Title: AN MD80 WAS DAMAGED WHEN PARKED IN A PORTABLE DOCK WHEN A SCISSORS LIFT STRUCK THE DOCK MOVING THE DOCK AGAINST THE ACFT NOSE SKIN.

Narrative: WAS OPERATING THE SCISSOR LIFT AND BUMPED INTO THE R-HAND NOSE DOCK, WHICH WAS NOT SETTING THE 4 ANTISKID'S BRAKES, CAUSED THE R-HAND NOSE DOCK TO MOVE SEVERAL INCHES AND PUT A DENT IN THE R FRONT CORNER BELOW THE PAINT STRIPE ON THE FUSELAGE NEXT TO THE RADOME. THE DENT IS APPROX THE SIZE OF A NICKEL.
