Narrative:
We were on the last leg of a 5 day trip which had been enjoyable. The captain and I were both motivated to learn more about our trade. As a result we had the company manuals out and were studying procedures while en route. On our last leg we faced a long delay before departing msp. Since our taxi time was estimated to be excessive, we chose a new procedure for us to study which was a single engine taxi. Due to the cumbersome and confusing checklist, and calls to dispatch, we were busy for most of that hour. Prior to takeoff we had a 3 min warm up of our restarted engine. Due to this bustle, we never accomplished the 'before takeoff' checklist. When the captain (PF) pushed the thrust levers forward, we got the confign turn. I put the flaps to our takeoff setting and when they reached their position, we continued our takeoff. At rotation, much to my chagrin, I realized that we indeed forgot the checklist. In hindsight we should have aborted.

Title: FLT CREW OF B737-800 FAIL TO COMPLETE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST. START TKOF ROLL WITHOUT SETTING FLAPS AS REQUIRED.
