Narrative:
Returning from a 3 leg cross country flight I had been cleared by regional approach for a base leg entry for landing on runway 15 at addison airport. Tower contact was initiated and permission to land was given. I turned final, found I was slightly high (3 white, 1 red VASI) continued approach intercepted the GS and maintained a 75 KT descent on GS. All was normal until after touchdown when the aircraft 'porpoised.' I did not catch the aircraft until the 'second bounce.' I initiated a go around to a normal landing. Title: INEXPERIENCED PVT PLT OF HIGH WING SMA STRIKES RWY WITH PROP DURING A BOUNCED LNDG. FLEW GAR FROM SECOND BOUNCE AND DISCOVERED BENT PROP AFTER A SUCCESSFUL SECOND APCH AND LNDG.
Narrative: RETURNING FROM A 3 LEG XCOUNTRY FLT I HAD BEEN CLRED BY REGIONAL APCH FOR A BASE LEG ENTRY FOR LNDG ON RWY 15 AT ADDISON ARPT. TWR CONTACT WAS INITIATED AND PERMISSION TO LAND WAS GIVEN.
