Narrative:

Aircraft was illuminated by what the first officer and I believe to have been a laser. The laser appeared to be coming from a building 1/2 mi north of willt intersection on the ILS runway 27L at ord. It was green in color and strong enough to light up the cockpit when it hit the cockpit windows. We reported same to tower.

Narrative: ACFT WAS ILLUMINATED BY WHAT THE FO AND I BELIEVE TO HAVE BEEN A LASER. THE LASER APPEARED TO BE COMING FROM A BUILDING 1/2 MI N OF WILLT INTXN ON THE ILS RWY 27L AT ORD. IT WAS GREEN IN COLOR AND STRONG ENOUGH TO LIGHT UP THE COCKPIT WHEN IT HIT THE COCKPIT WINDOWS. WE RPTED SAME TO TWR.
