Narrative:

Apron control gave us directions to follow an air carrier Y airplane through the center ramp to runway 28. We had a difficult time determining where the center ramp was. If it weren't for the air carrier Y airplane going via the same route, we would have had to ask the apron controller for progressive. Not a big deal, except the apron controller was very hard to understand. The only indication of where the center ramp is located is on a note on the page for yul. It would be a lot easier if the center ramp was highlighted better on this page or the main airport page. At the same time, the taxiway/area of the ramp north of the terminal area does not appear to be marked with any idents. Other aircraft taxiing while we were taxiing were also having difficulty finding the center ramp area.
