Narrative:
Air carrier aircraft X arrived at gate. Upon arrival, I walked around aircraft, found deep cut on left nose tire. Installed gear pin, per maintenance manual 32-40-02. Removed and replaced tire. Signed off maintenance tire change in aircraft logbook and signed off log for removing gear pins at the same time, however failed to remove gear pin as it was the end of my shift. I was rushed to complete task before end of my shift and return tools to tool crib, enter required log pages into maintenance computer and clean up were topics I feel relevant in this event. The new practice of management is to not authority/authorized overtime for work continuation. I feel that this practice greatly contributed to this event.
