Narrative:
On oct/sun/04, mr X and I were assigned to work job XXX, a logbook report on aircraft X. We accomplished a leak check of the PT2 and PT7 on the #1 engine. The maintenance manual was used to perform the leak check. When we attached the tester to the flex line we found the bleed down test to be out of limits. Due to time constraints we were unable to further troubleshoot exactly where the leak was. We came in to accomplish paperwork for the night and consult our lead for the night, mr Y. I notified mr Y on what we found and asked him how he wanted me to defer this write-up and he said to keep it on the logbook report. The job needed further troubleshooting to determine exactly where the leak was.
