Narrative:
Aircraft was being towed into gate, unit called out for 2 wing walkers. I went out along with person #2 to assist in the wing walking. A tug and towbar were in the way, so I moved them both out of the way. I moved the tug off to the left hand side and parked it. The driver towed the aircraft in, while I was responsible for watching the l-hand wing. I had the tire chalks in hand watching the nosewheel instead of the wing. The #1 engine hit the back left hand corner of the tug and did damage to the #1 engine cowl.
