Narrative:

At pwk, at the end of a long flight, upon landing, gear either collapsed or was not lowered. Not an accident, as defined under NTSB regulations part 836. After the incident, the gear switch appeared to be down and gear was hanging from the wells. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the incident is still under investigation as to the cause of the gear up landing. The propeller was damaged and will be replaced and the engine work has yet to be determined if teardown is required. Some minor belly skin damage was sustained.

Title: AN M20J PLT RPTS ON LNDG TA THE END OF A LONG FLT THE LNDG GEAR EITHER COLLAPSED OR WAS NOT LOWERED. INCURRED DAMAGE TO PROP, ENG AND MINOR DAMAGE TO BELLY SKIN.

Narrative: AT PWK, AT THE END OF A LONG FLT, UPON LNDG, GEAR EITHER COLLAPSED OR WAS NOT LOWERED. NOT AN ACCIDENT, AS DEFINED UNDER NTSB REGS PART 836. AFTER THE INCIDENT, THE GEAR SWITCH APPEARED TO BE DOWN AND GEAR WAS HANGING FROM THE WELLS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE INCIDENT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION AS TO THE CAUSE OF THE GEAR UP LNDG. THE PROP WAS DAMAGED AND WILL BE REPLACED AND THE ENG WORK HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED IF TEARDOWN IS REQUIRED. SOME MINOR BELLY SKIN DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED.
