Narrative:
R59 controller asked that I shortcut air carrier X direct brigs intersection to help the controller with traffic. This put the aircraft in conflict with slow climbing new york departures, sbound. Asked R59 controller to descend air carrier X to help alleviate conflict with slow climbing departures. This resulted in loss of separation with jet opposite direction of his left.

Narrative: R59 CTLR ASKED THAT I SHORTCUT ACR X DIRECT BRIGS INTXN TO HELP THE CTLR WITH TFC. THIS PUT THE ACFT IN CONFLICT WITH SLOW CLBING NEW YORK DEPS, SBOUND. ASKED R59 CTLR TO DSND ACR X TO HELP ALLEVIATE CONFLICT WITH SLOW CLBING DEPS. THIS RESULTED IN LOSS OF SEPARATION WITH JET OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF HIS L.
