Narrative:
Prior to dispatch, the crew reported (verbally) that the breakaway safety wire that holds the generator disconnect switch cover was broken. I went to the cockpit and re-safetied the switch covers, at that time the pilot asked if we could pull the reset bar on the generator, CSD. I complied, the pilot and I went to the engines, opened the panel and I pulled on the handle. Everything felt normal, so I closed the panel. I feel I should have documented this incident in aircraft records.

Title: A B737 CREW RPTED BREAKAWAY SAFETY ON GENERATOR DRIVE DISCONNECTS WERE BROKEN. SAFETIED SWITCH COVERS AND CHKED ENG DRIVES FOR CONNECTION. WORK PERFORMED NOT ENTERED IN LOGBOOK.
Narrative: PRIOR TO DISPATCH, THE CREW RPTED (VERBALLY) THAT THE BREAKAWAY SAFETY WIRE THAT HOLDS THE GENERATOR DISCONNECT SWITCH COVER WAS BROKEN. I WENT TO THE COCKPIT AND RE-SAFETIED THE SWITCH COVERS, AT THAT TIME THE PLT ASKED IF WE COULD PULL THE RESET BAR ON THE GENERATOR, CSD.
