Narrative:
Attitude indicator failure after takeoff, switched to ahrs (altitude heading reference system) #2 system after using standby gyroscope. Emergency checklist completed, VFR WX flew to VFR airport. Due to WX at salt lake city and aircraft flown in and out of salt lake, aircraft was flown to st george, ut, where VFR WX was forecast.
