Narrative:

We have two fixes in our airspace that are pronounced about the same. FAA management has been made aware, but so far nothing has been done. The two fixes are: secto and cekdo. Both are used on GPS 15 approach. Hopefully NASA can get something done. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated a recent identification incident prompted him to send in the report. The procedure has been in effect for about two years. The recent incident was minor and did not cause any problems. He said management has been advised of the problem and has advised the controllers to use extreme caution when using the GPS runway 15 approach procedure.

Narrative: WE HAVE TWO FIXES IN OUR AIRSPACE THAT ARE PRONOUNCED ABOUT THE SAME. FAA MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN MADE AWARE, BUT SO FAR NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. THE TWO FIXES ARE: SECTO AND CEKDO. BOTH ARE USED ON GPS 15 APCH. HOPEFULLY NASA CAN GET SOMETHING DONE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED A RECENT IDENTIFICATION INCIDENT PROMPTED HIM TO SEND IN THE RPT. THE PROC HAS BEEN IN EFFECT FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS. THE RECENT INCIDENT WAS MINOR AND DID NOT CAUSE ANY PROBS. HE SAID MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE PROB AND HAS ADVISED THE CTLRS TO USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING THE GPS RWY 15 APCH PROC.
