Narrative:

On nov/sat/04, at XA40 local, I being the PIC with a copilot on board with me called for taxi clearance at phl. We were instructed to taxi to runway 35 to taxiway K via txwys a and D. As we started our taxi on taxiway a the afternoon sun was making it difficult to see. We held short of runways 8 and 26 on taxiway D and then cleared to cross runways 8 and 26. We continued on taxiway D toward runway 35 and taxiway K checking closely for traffic on runway 27R which taxiway D crosses. Not seeing taxiway K for the sun and no hold short instructions we crossed runway 27R. The controller said we had gone too far and to do a 180 degrees and go back to taxiway K. There was not a safety or traffic issue at any time. What did I learn? When vision is impaired by anything get progressive taxi and also have a taxi diagram for each pilot and plan better for the taxi before the aircraft moves.
