Narrative:
Using MEL 30-3F as guide blocked wrong valve closed. Should have been 9TH stage bleed valve but locked closed prsov. Both valves are one on top of each other and the picture in the book shows high pressure valve as the inboard side of core cowl.

Title: A B737-700 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE INCORRECT INLET ANTI-ICE VALVE BLOCKED CLOSED. MEL REQUIRED 9TH STAGE VALVE LOCKED CLOSED. LOCKED REGULATOR SHUTOFF VALVE.
Narrative: USING MEL 30-3F AS GUIDE BLOCKED WRONG VALVE CLOSED. SHOULD HAVE BEEN 9TH STAGE BLEED VALVE BUT LOCKED CLOSED PRSOV. BOTH VALVES ARE ONE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER AND THE PICTURE IN THE BOOK SHOWS HIGH PRESSURE VALVE AS THE INBOARD SIDE OF CORE COWL.
