Narrative:

Drvsm event with 1000 ft vertical separation and about one half mile lateral separation. The wake turbulence occurred about one min after the other aircraft passed from our 10 O'clock position to our 8 O'clock position. The other aircraft was level at FL330 and we were level at FL320. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the crew had visual contact with the traffic but no contrail or other indication that it had crossed their track.

Title: B757-200 AT FL320 HAD A WAKE TURB ENCOUNTER WITH OPPOSITE DIRECTION B747-400 AT FL330 WHILE OPERATING IN ZLC AIRSPACE.

Narrative: DRVSM EVENT WITH 1000 FT VERTICAL SEPARATION AND ABOUT ONE HALF MILE LATERAL SEPARATION. THE WAKE TURB OCCURRED ABOUT ONE MIN AFTER THE OTHER ACFT PASSED FROM OUR 10 O'CLOCK POS TO OUR 8 O'CLOCK POS. THE OTHER ACFT WAS LEVEL AT FL330 AND WE WERE LEVEL AT FL320. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE CREW HAD VISUAL CONTACT WITH THE TFC BUT NO CONTRAIL OR OTHER INDICATION THAT IT HAD CROSSED THEIR TRACK.
