Narrative:
On apr/sat/05; I was changing the #3 tire/wheel assembly on aircraft X at the gate; and I assisted mr X. I brought the tire change equipment; and I filled out the paperwork. Mr X did the actual work of changing the tire. I witnessed nothing out of the ordinary during the tire change. I was less than 6 ft from him at the time. All parts and tools were accounted for. On may/wed/05; I learned that the #3 main landing gear wheel assembly had departed the aircraft at ZZZ the day before.
