Narrative:
Aircraft X in ZZZ for 'B' check; interior inspection card required inspection of lavatories. I did not notice small gap in lavatory trash chute door; so door did not seal. Lavatory trash chute door spring operations normal. Door did close completely; but had small gap on portion of door. Door was adjusted to seal completely. Did not inspect lavatory trash chute door closely.

Narrative: ACFT X IN ZZZ FOR 'B' CHK; INTERIOR INSPECTION CARD REQUIRED INSPECTION OF LAVATORIES. I DID NOT NOTICE SMALL GAP IN LAVATORY TRASH CHUTE DOOR; SO DOOR DID NOT SEAL. LAVATORY TRASH CHUTE DOOR SPRING OPS NORMAL. DOOR DID CLOSE COMPLETELY; BUT HAD SMALL GAP ON PORTION OF DOOR. DOOR WAS ADJUSTED TO SEAL COMPLETELY. DID NOT INSPECT LAVATORY TRASH CHUTE DOOR CLOSELY.
