Narrative:
On may/tue/05 on our outbound plane; I worked the PIREP for the emergency exit lighting. I was told that the lights were inoperative in the first class section and addressed the issue. Operations checked the lights and it was good. I was working with 3 other mechanics and we all thought the system was good. We were pressed for time to get the plane on the gate. I went to the logbook and found the PIREP; signed the write-up off without completely reading it. It was brought to my attention today; that more lights in the aft stairs were inoperative as well. The plane went out without this being addressed. We contacted the downline station and they will check the lights that were not addressed. The lead technician could have given a complete work assignment.
