Narrative:

Upon completion of a gate call for oxygen servicing on aircraft; my lead technician informed me that the crew was on board during the servicing and that the aircraft should have been de-energized. I believed the aircraft was vacant and was unaware that personnel were on aircraft at the time of servicing and did not interpretation the aircraft maintenance manual correctly about de-energizing the aircraft; as it is not clearly stated in the aircraft maintenance manual.
