Narrative:

After amt accomplished eco; reviewed paperwork and also signed that eco did not apply. I missed reading the continuity of steps 3 possibly event was almost 1 yr ago. Could not remember all the details surrounding date and workload in question. Referred eco line by line several times. Possibly steps cold have been idented better. Aircraft was late arrival; workload was normal except for above. I was also handling additional workload from avionics department; deferring their work.

Title: A B757-200 HAD AN ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER ACCOMPLISHED. JOB CARD WAS NOT CLR AND WAS INTERPED INCORRECTLY. STEPS B AND C WERE SIGNED OFF WITH 'NOT APPLICABLE.'

Narrative: AFTER AMT ACCOMPLISHED ECO; REVIEWED PAPERWORK AND ALSO SIGNED THAT ECO DID NOT APPLY. I MISSED READING THE CONTINUITY OF STEPS 3 POSSIBLY EVENT WAS ALMOST 1 YR AGO. COULD NOT REMEMBER ALL THE DETAILS SURROUNDING DATE AND WORKLOAD IN QUESTION. REFERRED ECO LINE BY LINE SEVERAL TIMES. POSSIBLY STEPS COLD HAVE BEEN IDENTED BETTER. ACFT WAS LATE ARR; WORKLOAD WAS NORMAL EXCEPT FOR ABOVE. I WAS ALSO HANDLING ADDITIONAL WORKLOAD FROM AVIONICS DEPT; DEFERRING THEIR WORK.
