Narrative:
While on approach to runway 25L at lax; we heard an air carrier inbound to lax with an onboard medical emergency being cleared for an approach to runway 25R at lax. Our landing was uneventful; and we cleared runway 25L at taxiway M. We were told to 'hold short of runway 25R.' I acknowledged the clearance and we stopped short of runway 25R. There was some sort of a discussion on tower frequency with another aircraft cleared to taxi into position and hold on runway 25R. The aircraft responded that they still had people standing and the clearance was canceled. We were running the after landing check we received the following clearance: 'air carrier xx cleared across runway 25R; contact ground on the other side.' I read back the clearance and looked down the runway. I thought I saw a plane waiting in position and went back to the checklist. We taxied about 10 ft past the hold short line of runway 25R; when we received the following clearance; 'air carrier xx; cancel last clearance...just stop there!' I looked back out my window; and then saw an MD80 barreling down runway 25R. I thought about calling out that we were past the hold short line; but I realized we were not going to hinder the MD80's takeoff roll and I didn't want him to think he should start a high speed abort. The MD80 takeoff was uneventful. We were then cleared across runway 25R and told to contact ground on .75 on the other side. Once across runway 25R and talking to ground; the inbound aircraft with the medical emergency landed on runway 25R. I think tower was caught between a rock and a hard spot when they cleared us across and then found out there was an emergency aircraft inbound while another was on the hold on runway 25R.

Title: B757 LNDG LAX; BTWN RWYS 25; CROSSED HOLD LINE AS DEP ACFT IS CLRED FOR TKOF TO ACCOMMODATE TFC ON SHORT FINAL.
Narrative: WHILE ON APCH TO RWY 25L AT LAX; WE HEARD AN ACR INBOUND TO LAX WITH AN ONBOARD MEDICAL EMER BEING CLRED FOR AN APCH TO RWY 25R AT LAX. OUR LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL; AND WE CLRED RWY 25L AT TXWY M. WE WERE TOLD TO 'HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25R.' I ACKNOWLEDGED THE CLRNC AND WE STOPPED SHORT OF RWY 25R. THERE WAS SOME SORT OF A DISCUSSION ON TWR FREQ WITH ANOTHER ACFT CLRED TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 25R. THE ACFT RESPONDED THAT THEY STILL HAD PEOPLE STANDING AND THE CLRNC WAS CANCELED. WE WERE RUNNING THE AFTER LNDG CHK WE RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING CLRNC: 'ACR XX CLRED ACROSS RWY 25R; CONTACT GND ON THE OTHER SIDE.' I READ BACK THE CLRNC AND LOOKED DOWN THE RWY. I THOUGHT I SAW A PLANE WAITING IN POS AND WENT BACK TO THE CHKLIST. WE TAXIED ABOUT 10 FT PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE OF RWY 25R; WHEN WE RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING CLRNC; 'ACR XX; CANCEL LAST CLRNC...JUST STOP THERE!' I LOOKED BACK OUT MY WINDOW; AND THEN SAW AN MD80 BARRELING DOWN RWY 25R. I THOUGHT ABOUT CALLING OUT THAT WE WERE PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE; BUT I REALIZED WE WERE NOT GOING TO HINDER THE MD80'S TKOF ROLL AND I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO THINK HE SHOULD START A HIGH SPD ABORT. THE MD80 TKOF WAS UNEVENTFUL. WE WERE THEN CLRED ACROSS RWY 25R AND TOLD TO CONTACT GND ON .75 ON THE OTHER SIDE. ONCE ACROSS RWY 25R AND TALKING TO GND; THE INBOUND ACFT WITH THE MEDICAL EMER LANDED ON RWY 25R. I THINK TWR WAS CAUGHT BTWN A ROCK AND A HARD SPOT WHEN THEY CLRED US ACROSS AND THEN FOUND OUT THERE WAS AN EMER ACFT INBOUND WHILE ANOTHER WAS ON THE HOLD ON RWY 25R.
