Narrative:
Last minute bags put on after paperwork was complete. The additional 6 bags put us over ZFW by approximately 200 pounds. Discovered overweight just after pushback and returned to gate to remove the 200 pounds to bring us back into limit. Called maintenance to confirm that we did not need an inspection for moving the aircraft over payload and they concurred that we did not.
