Narrative:
After rotation; fire warning bell came on and was on continuously during climb out; no EICAS or status messages present and all engine indications normal. After reaching safe altitude; captain directed first officer (PF) to fly airplane and handle ATC communications; while he consulted flight manual and initiated phone patch with dispatch and maintenance. Aural warning circuit breakers were pulled and warning silenced. Per maintenance; all fire detector circuit breakers were opened individually in an attempt to isolate source of fire signal. Unable to silence bell with any fire detector circuit breakers opened. All circuit breakers reset except aural warning speaker circuit breakers. Fire test ok with the exception of no aural warnings. With concurrence of maintenance; dispatch; and chief pilot; flight continued to ord and landed. I felt flight crew handled situation very well using excellent CRM for an ambiguous problem during a critical phase of flight.
