Narrative:
Cleared for takeoff runway 24; teb 5 departure. At about 600 ft MSL told to switch to departure (119.2). While I had put 119.2 in #2 radio; I had omitted putting 119.2 in backup position on #1 radio which I prefer to use so as not to get confused. While tuning 119.2 in #1 radio I got 20 to 30 degrees off heading. I have learned my lesson. I was correcting heading when controller mentioned it.
