Takeoff aborted runway 18L tul; ok. After setting takeoff thrust; the left thrust lever popped out of its detent due to an altoids tin can blocking the movement of the left thrust lever. The tin can was covered by air data/ATIS card.

Narrative: TKOF ABORTED RWY 18L TUL; OK. AFTER SETTING TKOF THRUST; THE L THRUST LEVER POPPED OUT OF ITS DETENT DUE TO AN ALTOIDS TIN CAN BLOCKING THE MOVEMENT OF THE L THRUST LEVER. THE TIN CAN WAS COVERED BY AIR DATA/ATIS CARD.
