Narrative:
While in the process of resolving an operational error which had just occurred between preceding arrival aircraft; aircraft #2; cleared on an ILS approach to runway 25L behind aircraft #1; was flying at an airspeed that I was unable to adjust while resolving another confliction. Minimum separation between aircraft #1 and aircraft #2 was substantially compromised. Minimum required separation was eventually re-established without having to take any evasive actions.
