Narrative:
'A' hydraulic system quick equipment disconnect was disconnected for routine maintenance on the acoustic filter. The quick equipment disconnect was connected after maintenance; but it must not have been fully engaged. System leak check was performed and hydraulic pressure was reported. After aircraft pushed from the gate; a loss of 'a' system occurred. Aircraft returned to the gate and called for maintenance. 'A' system quick equipment disconnect was found connected; but not fully engaged. Upon connecting quick equipment disconnect; aircraft was released.

Title: A B737-300 NOTED AFTER PUSHBACK THAT 'A' SYS HYD FLUID WAS BEING LOST. RETURNED TO GATE AND FOUND 'A' SYS SUPPLY QUICK EQUIP DISCONNECT CONNECTOR NOT SECURED.
Narrative: 'A' HYD SYS QUICK EQUIP DISCONNECT WAS DISCONNECTED FOR ROUTINE MAINT ON THE ACOUSTIC FILTER. THE QUICK EQUIP DISCONNECT WAS CONNECTED AFTER MAINT; BUT IT MUST NOT HAVE BEEN FULLY ENGAGED. SYS LEAK CHK WAS PERFORMED AND HYD PRESSURE WAS RPTED. AFTER ACFT PUSHED FROM THE GATE; A LOSS OF 'A' SYS OCCURRED. ACFT RETURNED TO THE GATE AND CALLED FOR MAINT.
