Narrative:
Written up for the elevator control requiring excessive aft force movements to effect any pitch change. During inspection of elevator system; I found the control column position switch to incorrectly installed and the micro switch lever to be damaged. The gust lock lever solenoid would not operate under any condition. Log page X. Item should have been rii'ed and an operations check should have been verified after installation. Engineering order X.

Title: AN EMB145 WAS RPTED AS ELEVATOR CTL REQUIRES EXCESSIVE FORCE FOR ANY PITCH CHANGES. FOUND CTL COLUMN POS SWITCH INCORRECTLY INSTALLED AND ACTUATING LEVER DAMAGED.
Narrative: WRITTEN UP FOR THE ELEVATOR CTL REQUIRING EXCESSIVE AFT FORCE MOVEMENTS TO EFFECT ANY PITCH CHANGE. DURING INSPECTION OF ELEVATOR SYS; I FOUND THE CTL COLUMN POS SWITCH TO INCORRECTLY INSTALLED AND THE MICRO SWITCH LEVER TO BE DAMAGED. THE GUST LOCK LEVER SOLENOID WOULD NOT OPERATE UNDER ANY CONDITION. LOG PAGE X. ITEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN RII'ED AND AN OPS CHK SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERIFIED AFTER INSTALLATION. ENGINEERING ORDER X.
