Narrative:
During the copilot's walkaround; he saw that the mechanics had just discovered that at some previous maintenance point someone had left 29 screws out of a panel that requires 35 screws. This was on the left engine pylon. I remember that the engine fell off the DC10 because someone went on break; or was it a shift change? As the captain; I really don't want parts breaking loose and hitting the airplane or someone on the ground.

Title: A B757-200 CAPT RPTS L ENG PYLON PANEL WAS MISSING 29 FASTENERS OUT OF A REQUIRED 35 FASTENER PANEL.
Narrative: DURING THE COPLT'S WALKAROUND; HE SAW THAT THE MECHS HAD JUST DISCOVERED THAT AT SOME PREVIOUS MAINT POINT SOMEONE HAD LEFT 29 SCREWS OUT OF A PANEL THAT REQUIRES 35 SCREWS.
