Narrative:

I was in the left seat on a practice check ride for the first officer. Block altitude assigned 14000-16000 ft. Set up for landing stall confign full flaps; gear down. First officer did not react to first indication of stall. No recovery was made and aircraft went to secondary stall. The wing dropped and I immediately went to full thrust and flaps 20 degrees. I was unable to hold assigned altitude. Wings rolled 90 degrees left and right; several times. Loss of 8600 ft before recovery was made. Contacted ZMA; requested return to opf. Action taken: sent first officer back to simulator to finish training. Note: never again.
